SENECA, Pennsylvania – Matric Limited, an electronics contract manufacturer based in Seneca, Pennsylvania, achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 on September 11, 2026, following an independent third-party assessment.
The assessment was conducted by A-LIGN, an authorized CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO). This certification is an important qualification for defense customers that require suppliers to protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
“Our customers trust us with more than the products we manufacture. They trust us with sensitive information that needs to be protected,” said Brad Turner, vice president of Marketing and Business Development at Matric Limited. “Achieving CMMC Level 2 reflects the investment we’ve made to meet those expectations and continue growing our aerospace and defense business.”
The Department of Defense (DoD) developed CMMC to establish cybersecurity requirements for companies in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). Level 2 certification verifies that applicable NIST SP 800-171 security requirements have been implemented within the assessed environment.
To prepare for the assessment, Matric invested in cybersecurity infrastructure, employee training, physical security, documentation and ongoing monitoring.
“Congratulations to Matric Limited for achieving CMMC Level 2 certification. This accomplishment demonstrates a strong commitment to safeguarding valuable information to protect our nation, developing a competitive advantage, and creating a culture of security,” said Petar Besalev, EVP of Compliance and Cybersecurity Services at A-LIGN. “We’re proud to support this integral step in Matric Limited’s compliance journey with a high-quality assessment process and deep expertise in federal compliance.”
The certification follows Matric’s recent facility expansion, electrical infrastructure upgrades and investments in manufacturing equipment.
Matric also holds AS9100D certification and Nadcap Electronics accreditation, and maintains ITAR registration, Joint Certification Program (JCP) participation and J-STD-001 Space Addendum capabilities.
The company provides engineering and product development, printed circuit board assembly, cable and wire harness assembly, electromechanical system integration and aftermarket services. Matric supports customers throughout the product lifecycle, from design and production to repair, refurbishment and obsolescence management.
